Who Is Mr. Grinchmas?
Mr. Grinchmas (a/k/a Tim Gonzalez) is a talented actor and voice actor, specializing in bringing joy and laughter to audiences of all ages. With a passion for entertainment, he excels in comedy shows and public appearances that leave a lasting impression.
Tim has been in the entertainment industry for nearly 30 years! He began his career by hosting his own local television show, which highlighted fashion trends and live music in the early 2000’s after having been a high school sports & news reporter. He was the producer and host of southside Atlanta’s comedy scene from 2011-2018. After 2 seasons, in which he hosted the show Mancave TV, he extended his role in the industry by becoming a film actor. Over the last ten years, he has been on the set of numerous blockbuster movies including Saturday Night, Fly Me to the Moon, Blue Beetle, & Civil War, and has also been on set of the iconic television series The Walking Dead and Stranger Things, as well as the hit shows Tulsa King, Will Trent, Family Feud, & Personal Injury Court.
In addition to action, he and his long time partner, Jody L. Sellers, started the podcast Tall Tales from which they’ve released 2 seasons and several live shows.
Although acting, producing, comedy, and hosting are his career passions, Tim’s devotion to his children is what led to his role as Mr. Grinchmas. When reading the beloved children’s tale to his family, Tim discovered his voice as Mr. Grinchmas. As a recreational league coach and former children’s Sunday School teacher, Tim understands the value of bringing joy and laughter to the young. His innate talent and professionalism combined with his witty humor and silliness have created a character that is unforgettable in the minds of children and their families. Tim’s ability to incorporate snarky commentary and poke fun at our world and attitudes today at the expense of his audience (in a good-natured, Mr. Grinchmas way) makes him a memorable and talked about character even for adult only crowds.
Tim offers a variety of services as Mr. Grinchmas. He can be booked for private parties, public events (such as parades), and photo ops, as well as live or recorded messages.
